You feel misunderstood. You have complex issues that people too often dismiss or ignore. You are often left feeling invalidated and unheard.

Perhaps you are neurodivergent, and getting anyone in your life – family, friends, doctors – to take your concerns seriously seems like a full-time job. You know how intense and difficult your symptoms are to manage and go through life with, but you don’t feel like anyone else gets it. You put enormous work and effort into making it through the day, and sometimes you feel like you’re just putting one foot in front of the other, not really enjoying your day-to-day.

Hello, I am Adrienne …

And I get it.

From my own personal experiences, I know how challenging it is to be misunderstood and invalidated by the healthcare system. My diagnosis of ADHD was the key to understanding how my brain works and to overcoming the obstacles that held me back

I became an ADHD Clinical Services provider in order to help others unlock their potential. On this journey I have gained insight into many conditions that co-occur with ADHD. I have a strong interest in serving those who are autistic, those who struggle with symptoms of OCD, and other conditions that fall under the ever-changing umbrella of neurodiversity. I find deep meaning and purpose in becoming the support person that I myself needed

When I was young I often felt ashamed when I fell behind in areas that others considered easy. In school I was often called lazy or told I was ‘not trying hard enough’. However, I learned focus, discipline, and self esteem from martial arts. Similarly, spending time in nature helped me find connection, clarity, and creativity.

What is it like working with me …

I use a non judgemental, out-of-the-box approach in order to magnify your strengths, find uniquely meaningful ways to enhance executive functioning skills that will allow you to be your most authentic self. Our sessions are a container of safety–you will never be judged or looked down on. Therapy is a partnership, and together we will co-create a path forward for your unique journey of growth.

As an ecotherapist, I have a special interest in incorporating nature into our sessions. In addition to traditional therapy I offer walk and talk therapy, where we take our sessions outside to see how nature and movement can aid in the healing process.

I know and believe things will change …

People change when they are ready. If you are here, that change has already started. You are here because you are seeking support and tools that are not available elsewhere. I provide the tools, resources and support to help empower you to reach your goals.

But is there hope for me?

Whether we are inside, outside in nature or in a telehealth session, my goal is to learn about you, help you to see the strength that lives within yourself, and to help you to live the best life that you can. I hope that you’ll take the step to contact me. I look forward to the growth that awaits you.
