You’ve had a difficult time finding someone that you can open up to who won't judge, shame, or criticize you. You feel alone in your despair, certain that your friends and family would reject you if they knew who you “really are.”

You’re ashamed and confused concerning some of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Your actions are not in line with how you “should be.” No matter how hard you try, you feel like you are never enough. The labels of “hypocrite” and “imposter” echo through your mind.

In addition to this, you feel lost and overwhelmed. You are unsure of how you fit into this world and what you should do next. The choices ahead are daunting. The teachings of your religious or cultural background no longer resonate with you. You yearn for direction and understanding.

Hello, I am Landon …

I understand what it feels like to be burdened by shame, anxiety, and trauma.

As a teenager, I felt insecure and isolated in my suffering. After meeting with a mental health counselor for the first time, I felt an immense weight lifted off of my shoulders. I had finally found a space where I could share all aspects of myself without social repercussions. I could finally explore who I am, wholly and authentically. Most importantly, I discovered that I am worthy of life, love, and connection.

Since then, I have devoted my time to understanding and practicing the art of healing. Let me walk with you as you identify and rewrite the harmful narratives of your life.

What is it like working with me…

I provide a curious, empathetic, and compassionate approach to therapy. I am dedicated to walking with you as you navigate the ups and downs of life. I approach clients with humility, recognizing that we are fellow travelers on the same road.

There is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to therapy. Your situation is unique, and I will adapt to changing needs and collaborate with you. I see you as the expert of your experience, fully capable of making changes and moving towards a healthier version of yourself.

I have been influenced by numerous therapeutic approaches, including existential psychotherapy, narrative therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I use these and other modalities to help you rewrite harmful narratives, change unwanted behaviors, and address trauma.

I know and believe things will change…

Healing does not occur overnight, it takes time. Understanding ourselves is a life-long process, and you are not alone in feeling stuck. If you entered the therapy office, you have begun the process of change. Trust the relational process.

But is there hope for me?

I'll provide you with compassion, empathy, and encouragement as you brave the painful moments of your journey. Regardless of where you have been or what you have done, your life is meaningful and worthwhile.
